Try Theses 2 Moves To Build Strong, Powerful Shoulders
The exercises below are both variations of the “Push Press” which is a great move for generating shoulder power and building total body functional strength.
The Push Press allows you to generate force from the ground up through your legs, core and out through your arms. This is important for training because it teaches your body to allow force to transfer efficiently through your body without losing energy.
For example if you don’t keep a strong, braced core, then you will lose some of the energy transfer and won’t be able to lift as heavy.

With both of these exercises only partially squat down enough to generate some power. You don’t need to descend into a full squat.
Focus on keeping your core braced so you can transfer all the power from the ground up.
