How To Do Pull-Aparts For A Healthy Back And Shoulders
This exercise I am going to show you is a great one to train your scapula (shoulder blade) to retract and rotate downward, which can help with correcting or preventing rotator cuff issues or shoulder impingement.
Pull-aparts can easily be added into your warmup to warm up your upper back or you can superset it with another exercise during your workout.
Watch the video below to see how to perform pull-aparts…
Exercise Tip – Make sure you keep your shoulders pulled back and down during the exercise you keep your scapula stable.
You can do straight pull-aparts or do them on an angle like in the second part of the video for extra benefit.
Hope this exercise helps you build a strong stable upper back and shoulders!
Cheers,
Clayton
